Ease grew up in Sta. Ana, Manila, and attended Grace Christian High School and the University of Santo Tomas. He later transferred to the University of Arizona, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in architecture. He has worked in the film industry for most of his professional life as a special effects modelmaker and computer graphics artist at ILM and Walt Disney Animation Studios. He currently resides in San Rafael, California, where he continues to write screenplays and graphic novels.
